Life Together

Starting Wednesday, March 13, Pastor David will lead a six-week class on the book Life Together, by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer is the German pastor who was executed for his role in the plot to assassinate Hitler. This book describes how he led an underground seminary in Nazi Germany. It is not simply of historical interest, however. It is about how Christians live together in homes, communities, and churches. Bonhoeffer had studied Christian community in monasteries, seminary dormitories, and churches from Rome to Berlin to Harlem. Both practical and inspiring, this short book is best read in a group.

The book is available in the church office. A suggested donation of $11 is appreciated. It will also be available at the first class.

The class meets Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00pm in Lower Langill.
