Help Wanted:
Historian - After the 20th anniversary celebration, it has become clear that we need someone to keep track of the next 5, 10, and 20 years!!! Anyone with interest in this should contact the church office.
Childcare Volunteers are needed for the following programs. These can be a short- term or long-term commitments. We need help with all age groups from infant to elementary age. For more information call Kristie Ocampo at 286-9958
MOPS and MOPPETS meet the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month.
Women's Bible Study is on Thursdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am starting in Sept. Child care hours are from 9 am to 12 noon.
Kids Krew meets on Thursdays from 3-5 PM. We need lots of help to make this a great program! We have had about 60 kids, but we expect this program to grow.
Sunday mornings during the 9:30 and 10:30 services we need help in the nursery to help with infants.
We also need help in the following areas:
Ushers - Four Ushers are needed for the 8:30 and 10:30 services every Sunday. Ushers greet, assist with seating and collect the offering.
Liturgist - If you have a clear speaking voice and like public speaking then this is for you. A Liturgist is needed for the 8:30 and 10:30 services every week.
A doorman is needed for the 10:30 service every week . All that is required is to be at the church by 10:00 and help anyone who needs assistance with the door.
Sunday refreshments - This program really needs help. Every week (except communion Sundays) refreshments are served on the patio. I have a very difficult time finding volunteers for this. All that is required is leaving the 10:30 service a little early and pouring drinks or punch and then cleaning up.
Prayer Committee invites you to pray on Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Chapel. JOIN US! We would also like to invite you to pray in our Chapel anytime at your convenience during the week over the prayer requests that come in. Just come to the front office and we will open the Chapel for you.
ANYONE INTERESTED IN ADDING TO OUR PRAYER SHAWLS? Thank you ladies for your generosity with the Prayer Shawls. They are being given away quickly and we’ll be in need of more shortly. So many are blessed by them!
